Such is the story of Amisha Patel who was once one of Bollywood's top actresses after delivering back to back hits in Gadar and Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. After a string of flops, her career took a serious dip. But it seems Amisha hasn't let this drag her down as over the last year she has attempted to crawl back up the ladder


with films like Ankahee, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. and Bhool Bhulaiyaa--all three in which she was appreciated for the most part.

Recently, she bagged Yash Raj Films' next production with Kunal Kohli as the director. Co-starring Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan, Amisha plays a supporting character and is being touted as being the surprise package of the film. She hasn't featured in the film's publicity so far, but it remains to be seen whether audiences will catch a glimpse of her new look once the promo releases this Friday with Tashan.

Just recently, Kunal Kohli announced that his up-until-recently "untitled" flick will be titled Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, confirming speculation that Rani Mukerji plays an angel in the film. He also further curbed curiosity by confirming rumours that Amisha Patel will be performing a sensuous item number in the film. According to Mumbai Mirror, the song has been filmed outdoors and will be along the lines of Sridevi's "Kaate Nahin Katte" from Mr. India.

Kohli says, "Yes, it's one of the most sensuous songs we've seen of late. Amisha's performance has been a huge surprise in the song." After her track "Sakiya" was chopped from the final edit of Bhool Bhulaiyya, it looks like Amisha might finally get her due in the dancing department.
